Carmichael's celebrates National Poetry Month with a beefed up poetry section and a reading series by poets Sonja de Vries and Sheri Wright. Join us on Saturday, April 30th at 4 PM for a reading by these two local poets. Sonja de Vries's debut collection, Planting a Garden in Baghdad, is full of compassion and humanity reflecting Sonja's deep belief in and strong committment to social justice.
