Event Description

After 5 years of research, producer and writer Charles Mariotti, has released this book based on the screenplay and movie in development. (see facebook) Plantation blacksmith, Eli Fury, flees to the California gold rush in an epic search for freedom and riches, but is enslaved by malevolent outlaw miners. But to get what he wants he must defeat these miners who were once mercenaries from the Mexican-American war. To do that he befriends some of the most unlikely allies.

Comment by Charles Mariotti on April 4, 2013 at 12:37am: Story has great characters that you will love and some you will hate. One thing I tried to do is give the reader something and someone to root for. I also made these characters as interesting as possible. We have a banished Monk with martial arts skills, an entertainer with a gunfighter past, and a lady of negotiable virtue who spices up the story. In this story Justice is represented by and old blind man, and the villains are awesome. One has become like the snake because of his fear of them, so you better maneuver around him or he'll kill ya. There is also a supernatural element to this story and a rewarding end...but the story will continue...in a sequel.
