Are you influenced by Oprah's Book Club choices?

That's the question: are you influenced by Oprah's Book Club choices? Just wondering how much knowing it was recommended there would make you want to buy it or at the very least look into it more. I'm no fan of the show so it's immaterial to me.

If I cared what random rich people had to say, I'd probably vote. Frankly, I decide based on what the general online consensus of the published material is, and not some celebrity that doesn't mean anything to me.
