Authors, Writers, Publishers, and Book Readers
I have a question.. is there any way to become focused on one story or book when writing? Becuase I start so many.. and then I either get broed or get a new idea and start writing. Then that gets old so I start a new one and so on. Then I go back to my old ones and forget the new ones. Plus, writers block has come up a lot lately. I've found I dont enjoy, or feel like writing as much as I used to.. Is there any advice to help me on this?!
Forgive me for my inncorrect grammar, run-on sentences, etc.. I'm very tired and a little stressed.

I have been sleeping alot lately. And I read the article. I planned this weekend a camping trip with some of my friends. Its goanna be good for me and then we are going to Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri. =) Hopefully this will help me relax and figure somethings out. =) Thank you.
Kay Elizabeth said:Don't open other ones. That's the simple answer. If you get bored with them, then why stick with them anyway? It sounds like you're a bit burned out, so put the writing and books aside and get out in the fresh air. There's nothing like being in nature for an afternoon or evening to refresh you. You need a change of scene and routine to shake things up. Watch different shows, listen to podcasts, try a different kind of music from usual...anything that's different from the norm will help you break out of it. And when you have writers block, you write about having writers block. Just put anything down.
You can also read this article about how a writer needs to have an interest in the world to be creative. And one of the best things for stress is sleep. Make sure you're getting enough.
Yes, I've realized i dont have to write a story, just a rough draft of a story line. That's helped me ALOT. Thank you. I go weeks without writing, then i hit a spot where i can't stop. Ray Bradbury is an author who once he starts writing a short story, he doesn't stop until it's finished. He's a great author an di hope oneday to be like him. =)

If you have a great idea in your mind, and you feel like you'll forget soon, don't try writing another story just because you haven't worked on it enough! I have about six stories underway right now, and there are like three or four more that I just haven't had a chance to write down yet! Just write what you feel! :)
I know right?! I love his stories! Hes totally one of my favorite authors. He is inspiring =)

Yeah, he's really cool! I read an interview with him once in class, and he said that, unless you write everyday, then you shouldn't write at all. Of course, this is a little harsh, not many authors write every single day, but he also said that he usually had finished a short story before eleven every single morning. He's very inspiring, and a very good role model for any author! I would love to be like him too!

I went camping. =) It was a little chilly at night.. But the air was pretty incredible. =) I had a great time with my friends.. And i learned to meditate at my Karate class!! It helped too. =) And i went to Washington state for about a week. Its way colder up there. It snowed.. ALOT. and i played with sled dogs and rode horses up north around the Canadian border with my cousin. It was really refreshing... Its beautiful up there. It was nice to be with my family up there. =) Thanks for everything you guys. It really appreciate it. =)
Meditation will help you rest your mind and concentrate better, Brooklyn. It's very good for stress too. I get some of my best ideas during a meditation. The more you practice it, the more you'll get out of the experience. Mine last over an hour.
