Authors, Writers, Publishers, and Book Readers

How did you find your way to Authors.com?

I was thinking today about how big the internet is and the vastness of its reach. And then I pondered on how we all find our little corners of happiness on the web. Authors.com is definitely one of mine! So tell me, how did you get here initially and discover our fab community? :D

I found my way to this fun place through a friend. I was reading Peggy Bedingfield's FB wall, saw this place there, clicked on the link, and never looked back!

It's been a month since I created an account, so I'm not exactly certain how I came across Authors.com. But I'm sure I was doing some sort of search on Google involving the tracking down of writer-friendly websites.

I took a sort of survey at school the other day and it asked what my goals for the future would be. Naturally, i replied with author. Then it asked what resources I have to reach my goal. I have my mom- she's a teacher so she can help me some, and i have my English teachers at school but I really have true resources, which to me means authors that can give me advice and help me reach and exceed my goals. So, i went on Yahoo and tyoed in authors, really not expecting much. This popped up so i checked it out and evewntually made a profile and invited one of my friends who is a very talented poet. That's my story! :)
