Anyone want to pop in and shoot the breeze with me? I'm in there just now. :D Come and share how your week's been going so far. Would any of you be interested in organizing a scheduled chat some evening? If so. say what time roughly does or doesn't suit.

Thanks to Andrew and Betty for dropping in last night. It was good to have a chat and I hope more use it more often! :) The time just flew by. Andrew, I hope you're over that nasty bug today.
As to availability I work from home so I'm flexible in the evenings for scheduled chats and don't have any particular night tied up. Remember please if you add to this to mention your time zone too. I'm on Central.

Truth be told, I'm not sure what time zone I'm in... According to my Computer I'm in Eastern though, so I'll go with that for now, lol.
And thanks, Kay. However I'm not over it yet. I got little to no sleep last night and ended up sleeping in the bathtub so I didn't have to run back and forth between my room every five minutes. Gross, I know, lol.

You can count me in if it is after 8:00 p.m. even though I work from home I have a standing visit daily. I am in the Eastern time zone.

I'm on central. I havent been here in a while went out of town to see the nephews and my cousins wife. Had tons o fun!! Its around 3am right now so Im lazy with my typing.

Thanks for the replies Sandra, Andrew and Viviana. It would be great to organize something and let us all get to know each other more. I was thinking that a Friday or Saturday night might suit when no-one has work or school in the morning (except us work at home types).
Sandra, I found out that your Eastern time zone is one hour ahead of Central. So if we say 8:00 PM CST for example, it's going to be 9:00 PM there on EST. This note is more for myself than anyone really because I get so mixed up with time zones! :)
So how would either 7 PM or 8 PM CST suit you all on this coming Friday or Saturday? Or would you prefer another night/time?
I hope more members will decide to join in by then too. If we can decide on when, then an Event can be posted. The more the merrier! Please add to this thread if you're interested. All are welcome!

I'll come by if I can but I'm not making any promises. Will you be there anyway and wait and see who comes in? I hate committing to things in case I get embroiled in something and forget. I'll just say I'll see you if I see you. :)

Yes I'll hang out anyway tonight from around 7PM CST for a couple of hours at least and see how it goes. I probably will tomorrow too unless anything comes up between then and now. :) I'm going to put up an Event now about it.

Tonight? I'll probably be here. I might be watching whatever Friday the 13th movies I can find on T.V and/or reading, but I should be here.

Cool! That's good to hear. :) I had to set a closing time for the event so just said 2am, but it'll be open all the time as usual.

Thank you to everyone that popped into chat on Friday night! I enjoyed it and only wish I could have stayed longer. Those three hours just flew in for me and I didn't want to go but I had work to do. I hope we can do it again. :)
Two things I did find out - you can make the chat pop out so it stays in a separate window by hitting the middle button with the two squares on it. It's to the right of where it says Authors.com Chat | 2 Online (or however many there are.)
You can also have it beep when someone leaves a message so you still know if you have it minimized. You can toggle that with the button that's next to the smiley icon in the chatroom.
