This is a nice way to give back in honor of Veterans Day that just passed (and good publicity for you too!) Over 1000 ebook authors already are part of this program.

Independent authors donate their ebooks to deployed coalition troop. Indie authors and soldiers who want to participate, contact edwpat@att.net.

You simply email Ed to get in the queue if you're willing to participate. The standard method seems to be that you send them a link to your book at Smashwords and a free coupon code to use. Read through the messages there to get the general idea and contact Ed via that email or on their Facebook account if you have any questions.
