Looking for an author

Can you be more specific?  Where did you read his work?

Well I'm trying to find an Author a friend of my recommended but I tried searching and have found like little to nothing.  I'm just looking for a place were I can go, search or visit. That might reference or contains works of various unknown authors and their publications.  Only thing that comes to mind is Library of Congress but I don't know if that's where I should start?

If the author published with an ISBN you could find them by the number.. Have you a name or title?

OR you could tell us his name or ask your friend what his name was, or what books he wrote.

I heard a Mr Connors is interested in the book too.

Is that you?

The book may have been published by the author privately. Mr Ted(Edward)Connors read the book until it was confiscated by security agents. End of story unless a digital version exists.

Thanks. Although I went to the site, I could not download it. I went through about an hours worth of answering questions and it still would not let me download it.  It just kept passing me on to more and more sites to sign up , register then finally I was required to purchase something that I did not want.  At that moment I just gave up and closed out.

If you don't know a Mr Connors then that's fair enough.
But the Mr Connors has the full name of Ted Connors or Edward Connors. With a common interest in the book you seek it is possible you may be that person since the only 'handle' you offer on this site is 'Edward' which is the full name of Edward.
Also the copy (perhaps the last one available to the public) was confiscated by security agents.
As a limited number were published by the author I think the last hard copy has gone and all traces of the digital one wiped out.That's what it looks like from here.

Sorry that didn't work...try going to Bowker, they issue ISBN's for books. You amy be able to find it there and also try the Library of Congress. Good Luck
