"Confessions" tells of the author's journey in life. She recounts her childhood living with her grandmother and over protective aunt. She was provided with everything she needed and never felt the absence of her parents. Her mother wanted nothing of her and her father was non existent since her birth. Her world took a turn when her grandmother died. She had to live with her aunt but not for long. As she matured as an adult, the author dealt with her internal struggles, trying to make sense of her life and finding her self-worth. With all that she had been through, she knows she will find the one who deserves her love.
