That is a good question! I love to read and re-read Austen novels, and then read them some more... I think for me they are books that mean something different to me each time I read them. Another book that I read over and over is called Deafening (Francis Itani) Amazing book, but each time I read it I realised I missed something really obvious last time!
I will probably be tarred and feathered for saying this. I've never read any Jane Austen. I want novels set in the recent past or present and occasionally future or alternate societies. I'm reading a Dystopian one right now actually. Historical novels leave me cold and yet I can enjoy factual history books. I just can't get into historical fiction. Don't ask me why! :)
