What would you say to your love ones if today was your last day on earth. How would you want to be remembered?

What is the last thing that you would want your spouse, children, coworkers, to remember about you if when you left your home you were  never going to return. So many times we get in a hurry, and our focus is  on the ton of things that we have to get done, the things that did not get done, and the things that we think everyone else should have done, that we neglect to say little things like: I thank you, I appreciate you or I love you. Sometimes we cut off the very ones we love because of disappointment over something that was neglected. Onething that I would like for everyone to remember is never to be so focused on being the one who is right that you can not humble yourself to say I'm sorry I was wrong. Please forgive me. Never walk away angry, bitter or unforgiving. Always make a mental choice, to say regardless of the fact that I do not agree with you at this time. I am going to choose to love you inspite of my disappointment in your decision to neglect what is important and concerning me at this time. Get in the habit of saying I love you and that I forgive you. Then it want be so hard. It will become the normal thing to do.

Good question and great advice, Jannie. I often say I love you to my family. I don't remember hearing it much when I was young, even though deep down I always knew I was loved, and want my own to know that I do and never doubt it. I'm also quick to apologize if I'm wrong. I'd want to be remembered as being a good person. That would be enough. :)

What an excellent question Jannie! :) I would want to be remembered as being fun and goodhearted.

There's a wonderful Maya Angelou quote that goes "If you have only one smile in you, give it to the people you love. Don't be surly at home, then go out in the street and start grinning Good morning at total strangers." It's so true! Remember who is important in your life and tell them so because the day will come when you'll wake up one morning and they won't be there.
