Authors, Writers, Publishers, and Book Readers
When do you like to write?
Do you prefer to pick up the pen (or fire up the computer) at any special time of day? Some authors do it first thing in the morning. I would rather write later on at night although I'm not fussy.

Hmm good question! I think it depends what I'm writing. If I've planned to try and do some writing (I don't really know why I do this, because it never works!) I tend to do it later in the day/night. However, I think the writing that usually turns out the best is the stuff that just appears from a spark of inspiration and is fanned into a fire by our imagination! So when inspiration hits I think you just have to write! Ever feel like it controls you sometimes...rather than the other way round? :-)

Um...I Write all the time. any where, anytime.
i have a urge upon my right hand everyday, to at least write 1 page a day.

It would be nice to just be able to drop everything and write when we feel like it but that's not always practical. I do write a few lines down if I'm in the middle of something else to remind me of where the thought was going. Not that I always can recall what I meant once I get time to go back to them. I'd like one of those tiny tape recorder you can use for dictation. It would be simpler.

That's great if you can remain disciplined enough to do so. I never have been able to write my own personal pieces at a set time. When it's work, I can get into the flow quite easily. When it's my own, I tend to think a long time before I write anything down.

I write whenever something comes to mind, and thats usually during the night!
Hahaha I dont plan it they just pop up!!
So I write whenever a idea comes up!

In the night I dream and I write about what I dream often. Seriously, I do get inspiration from my dreams. I write when I'm awake. :)

Well first off, definitely the computer. I don't really have the most audible handwriting, and typing is A LOT less hand cramping! And I would really write whenever the mood strikes me. Just as long as nobody's over my shoulder probing every word I write!
