Betty, you're like a tornado the way you swept in there! Excited, are we? LOL. :)

I'm old so I'll be at home, not partying. :) Actually I miss my parents very much on New Years Eve. My siblings and I always had to be home to ring in the New Year. When we were in our late teens we could go out after that and party if we wanted but the first New Year stroke at midnight was a time for family togetherness. Even when I got married we still made their home our first stop right after midnight. I'll call them but it's not the same.

Have a lovely birthday and enjoy the New Year!

P.S. Scribbler had already started a resolution thread. :)

First, I can't even REMEMBER my resolutions for last year :) Some of mine this year are basically to finish the one book I'm working on, start saving my money, get better grades (I have pretty much A's and one B, and I'm sort of hoping to get into an ivy league school, so I need AP classes next year!) And- my favorite- go to an Adam Lambert concert! I love him! ;) As for my plans, I pretty much plan on staying up until midnight- pretty much the same thing I do every year, but this year, I'll make sure to make a special toast at midnight, just for the official end of your birthday! :) Happy Birthday!

hahaha, i did rush, took me a minute. lol

my nickname at school is black tornado. How did u know?? lol jk

Family should always be there. ;)

Its ending the year and starting a new one with the same loving people that makes new years so very special. ;)

Lol, yeah, I know that not many people like him, but I do, and he says he always tries to keep his concerts at a PG level, so I think that they would at least be fine! But, I do have to admit, he can freak me out a lot too, but I still like him! :) And good luck with your book!
