Reviews: The Everlasting and Fantastical Adventures of Elannah and Sam: Books 1 & 2 by Sean Noonan

Of Lights in the Night; Friends and Adventure: The Everlasting and ...

My review
This is a cute little book. It mostly serves as an introduction to the characters in the series. There is not a lot of action in this book; kids will have to use their imaginations (and that's not a bad thing). Sean has created an amazing dream world where anything can happen. I want to see those fireworks. :-)

Jeffrey's review
As these are kid's books, I asked Jeffrey (9) to read them and tell me what he thought. He said, "I like it, but there's not much going on." (After reading it, though, he declared that we're keeping the books, so don't look for these books in my weekly giveaway.)

A First Christmas; Friends and Festivity: Book Two of the Everlasting and Fantastical Adventures of Elannah and Sam

My review
Any action missing from Book One is all here in Book Two. Flying bikes, magical sleds, mining-car chases... and other fun stuff. (I don't want to give it all away.) Kids also learn about giving to others and teamwork in a fun way. There are two more books coming and I can't wait to read them!

Jeffrey's review
"I really like this one!" (He's a man of few words unless Pokemon is involved.)

Thanks again Amanda. I am coming to the point of sending out the next book for the publishers and am getting very excited. Have a meeting in London next week, that I am hopeful for...

Oh, yay! Good luck! I got them posted to GR, too. It wouldn't let me on when I first posted your reviews.
You're a star Amanda!
Aw, now I'm blushing.  I love how it doesn't take much to make authors happy. LOL
