thank you for the warm welcome, this is great! i have just submitted a story for an anthology titled American Wasteland, which happens on september 11, 2021. writers are welcome to submit their short stories  until july 4th. for all the details, here's the publisher's message and i hope it'll spark some ideas to contribute to it!

have a great week end everyone,

Delphine

Greetings, writer friends! In case you haven't heard yet,
I wanted to let you know about the current call for artists at my arts
organization, for the new anthology I'll be publishing in September,
entitled "American Wasteland: Bleak Tales of the Future on the Tenth
Anniversary of 9/11." I won't bore you with the details in this email;
instead, interested parties can go to
http://www.cclapcenter.com/wasteland . The deadline for submissions
isn't until July 4th, so I will be sending out occasional reminders
this spring about it, for those who are interested but keep forgetting
to actually write their story. And along those lines, if you DO plan
on writing something for it later this spring, let me know and I'll
add you to the official "American Wasteland" author mailing list,
keeping you abreast of all the latest as we get closer to the
publishing deadline.

Of course, I also appreciate you mentioning this at your blog,
Facebook account, Twitter feed and other such places; as you know, the
key to a good anthology is simply getting the word out to as varied a
group of writers as possible, so I highly appreciate you helping out
in this regard in any way you can. Thanks for your indulgence with
this letter, and I hope you'll have a chance to participate in this
project that will hopefully generate a lot of attention for everyone
involved come this fall.

Welcome aboard Delphine, I enjoy writing fictional horror, as well. Mine is more fantasy or supernatural horror. As I have a series of werewolf books I've published. A three book series, but mine have some romance thrown into them as well. They all focus pretty much around a cursed object known as a Devil's belt or wolf strap. Which the possessor of this object has the ability to transform or shapeshift into a werewolf. The heroin of the story is a college professor who teaches a class on the paranormal.
