Authors, Writers, Publishers, and Book Readers

I am not saying to write incomplete sentences, but rather not finishing the idea or the action. In other words if the character is hunting down his prey to murder them, the writer can stop the chapter and pick it up later in the story, thus forcing the reader to read on. Or if somebody is going to the edge of a cliff to jump, the write can end the chapter before the jump and then pick it up later.
I usually like to surprise myself while I am writing. I stick to the main idea and just jump in but there is always room for a twist or two. I'd stick to one book at a time though. You don't want to get your head all jammed up with too many ideas.
