Radio/TV Interview Opportunities

Good Day to all, I am a newbee to Authors.com and although I have looked for something on this issue, i was unable to find anything.

I have had limited success with RadioGuestList.com for opportunities for interviews and was hoping some of you could share their experience with this service or recommend others. As a self published author, my responsibility for publicity and promotion is huge and I need every opportunity I can obtain in order to get my book known and discovered. It's all about promotion and publicity I can see at this point. I have a website, a book trailer, a blog spot and have been doing a number of local book presentations and signings, but much more is needed. Any help out there........?

There is an awesome group on Facebook and one of the things the moderators do is host radio interviews. My connection can never let me participate but it sounds like a success, or at least a lot of fun.
