Dreaming?

Permanent layer of thin fog resonating 
Where I am can not be determined
Am I dreaming?
Internal time seems off, days into minutes
Watching from a third person view, unable to change the outcome
Am I dreaming?
Could I be behind  or way aheah? Vanilla sky melting ,burning my eyes
Wish to awake to normalcy, but this dream is becoming a nightmare
Darkness slowly strangles the vibrant life away
Running full speed but still closely followed
I should be able to control this; that is if I am really dreaming
As I wait alone for my waking moment, I then realize the truth....
I was never dreaming
