Submission Guidelines for Blue Mountain Arts

I'm sure you're all familiar with the very popular company but finding the submission guidelines can be a bit of a task. It's not obvious from their website's homepage or the links there how to go about it. In fact, I wonder if they even link to it there anymore. If they do, I couldn't see it.

A ploy to try reduce the number of submissions and increase the quality they get perhaps? Only serious writers would bother seeking them out. Luckily I bookmarked this long ago when I did discover it. Blue Mountain Arts are now listed under SPS Studios and that's the website where the submission guidelines are.

They are worth finding as the pay is very high!

We pay $300 per poem for the worldwide, exclusive rights to publish it on a greeting card and other products, and $50 per poem for one-time use in a book. Publication procedures will be explained in detail prior to actually publishing your work.

Yes, that wasn't a typo. :) $300 is what Blue Mountain Arts pays for greeting card poetry. If you want to submit, go to your nearest greetings card store and look for their section. Once you've browsed through them you will know better what they accept. You can also see their cards online and gift items. Their standards of acceptance are sky high. Submit your very best writing and only after research.
