        I write sci-fi fantasy novels filled with adventure, mystery, romance, drama, horror, and plenty of comedy… Sci-fi for every adult human to enjoy. I'm also a well-known published poet. I've just completed my next sci-fi mystery, titled: 'The Mysteries of Fuller Park'. A fun story based on the eerie satanic urban legends of Fuller Park, Athens, Texas. My next novel title is: 'It's Not A Lovable Pet Story!' LOL... It sure isn't another lovable pet story. Its Sci-fi horror at its best for delighting my many thousands of reading fans. Writing isn't an easy task, and most likely every writer has suffered what seems like a dead end, but there are no dead ends until the story ends. The writer needs to dip deeper into their imagination and write whatever comes to mind, no matter how strange it may be. Fantasy is fun because strange generally rules the story. Imagine yourself as being each of your main characters, step into their  fictional lives, and experience their emotions. Guide them in the direction their going. I believe this will help you to continue on with your story.

Do people put chapters up on this site for review or do writers generally keep thier stuff to themselves until it's finished?

No, they generally do not do that. I usually keep my characters to myself, keeping in mind my future readers will meet my characters and become involved in their lives. No mater if the characters are human or alien, female or male, good or evil, I want the reader to fully accept them and want to continue reading my story.

Right now, trying to actually publish a novel is like hitting a state lottery three times in a row. You need to self publish your work as eNovels, because they are rapidly replacing paper books. Soon paper books will be a thing of the past, like music cassette tapes.
