I began writing in 2008, however my writing began with notes that I was taking as I was doing my own investigation into the death of my son. His death was an untimely one with many questions surrounding the circumstances. Eventually I put all of the notes together to develop the foundation that soon turned into a story of its own - Tragic Love evolved. There are many publishers out there and you really have to look at each one and what they offer and what you can invest in. For my first two books I went with a a company called publishamerica, I found both good comments and some negative comments about the company but I have been personally satisfied. The biggest challenge is promoting your book-its an automatic that most of your friends and family will support you but if you want a bigger I find that you have to find the niche, and also use every outlet available such as social network sites, blogs, radio, etc. People need to know that your book is out there and for me promitng my books has become a 24 hour job that I absolutely love!
