In an informal survey of third graders, Trouble in the Bubbles is noted as the most liked and requested of all of my stories. It is quite popular with those "in the know".

These three strategies will help you write about bad, or embarrassing, information in a way that makes the bad information sound better than it is. You need to tell the truth; that's a given. But you can tell it in a way that produces a positive, or less, bad reaction from your reader.

Human nature of indifference,
No sympathy no benevolence;
Greatest curse in this creation,
One's death another vacation;
Someone's full other is empty,
One has none other has plenty?
While one dies new one is born,
Like dusk brings a novel…

For the entire month of February, I’m running a review campaign. For each review of “The Seventh Soul” on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Good Reads, $1.00 will be donated to the Great Plains Food Bank. The following is from the Great Plains Food Bank website, describing what the program does in its campaign against hunger:
"The Great Plains Food Bank strives for a hunger-free North Dakota and western Minnesota by recovering surplus food and…

I have to say I apologise for the title of my post, but you must forgive me! Actually, I understand love shouldn't hurt on Valentines Day. In fact it should be a beautiful celebration of our love for each other, whether we are in long-term comfortable relationships, or shorter developing ones. I am simply offering a view of Valentines Day from the perspective of my paranormal romance novel Love Hurts.
Personally I am not celebrating Valentines Day this year. My husband and me…

As the first anniversary of the publication of Night Shadows approaches (February 16), I want to present two blogs regarding fear.
I once read an article stating how fear is an acronym for False Evidence Against Reality. The article went on to discuss how most fears aren’t as devastating when the reality of the situation is revealed.

Are there any Scrivener users aboard authors.com? With the Windows release of the product, I was pleased to finally get a chance to try it out while revising short stories for my L.A. Limo Tales collection. Must say that I've barely scratched the surface of its capabilities but I'm very pleased with its ability to produce clean e-book files in all the major formats.
