I think about my childhood
the foster home,

It may not seem like it from the outside, but I've just affected a transition in my writing that means I've now completed 85% of my new novel, with the remainder fully set up to be done in the next couple months...
I am SO excited. I just crashed through a huge barrier that had been holding me back for months. Woohoo!

Every summer my mother would have the hard wood floors sanded, buffed and finely polished. Someone I can not recall would remove the sofa. I remember it was by Jennifer furnishings, of light cream color with wide stripes covering its canvas, one stripe darker than the other.
