Book signing

The day of my book signing it was in the 70's here in Alaska. So everyone was outside enjoying the warm weather because we have short summers here. Everyone enjoys the light also for the same reason.  So Barnes and Noble was slow . I talked with one person about publishing books and one person bought a book.

Social Marketing Success and Counting!!!

A Big Thank You To Everybody!

I was working my "Rule of  Five" today on the internet.  I learned this technique from marketing guru John Kremer. It just means you do five things everyday to market your novels.

I work the social media (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, etc) as part of my everyday "Rule of Five" routine.

Well, I decided to check the numbers…

BATTERED HOPE

Everyone makes choices, some good, some not so good.  The difficulty lies in learning to live with them.  I learned the long-term effects of one bad choice that led my life into a downward spiral.

My sharpest memories were shrouded in darkness, and no amount of hope for the future could change the past.  I wanted to find my reset button, but the only thing I could do was put one foot in front of the other and continue onward, hoping each cloud had a silver lining.

This is not…

Pusa kong Mataba

I

Umaalis nalang palagi dumarating pag may kailangan

Sya ngayoy…

KWEZI

A book about a light in the dark.

while the entire universe waits for the morning rise, some one out there is working it out with the dark rays. could be a blessing to have an easy schedule out when the moonlight appears on time to help!

It mostly centers on true African culture. Definitely; there has to be a 'light' a hope in the dark, somewhere, somehow, only if you search.

Book Pirates

Can barely contain myself..so hopping mad!

Today, while checking on my distribution sites, came up with one not on my list of designated retailers.

This company is selling copies of my e-book without permission. Adding insult to injury, their price is DOUBLE what mine is going for via legal sites.

These criminals are sitting back, collecting money for something I sweated blood creating, with no intention of passing along a royalty check any time…

Adult Truth #10

#10

Bad decisions make good stories.”

I'll wager you are thinking of several bad decisions in your life and how those could be turned into a short story or a scene in a novel. You may have to change the names/locations/dates to protect the guilty (and save yourself a lawsuit) or you may have to embellish the facts a bit to make the anecdote play out a little better in written…

Do Something To Make Someone Else Happy

Each day we awake, we should feel oh so new.  It is just amazing that God has blessed us to live to see another beautiful day.

We should all be so grateful.  The thoughts of love and harmony should embrace our inner beings and our souls.  It is wonderful

and magnificent to be able to get up out of that bed…

Sound familiar? Dr. Seuss wrote the poem as an inspiration and promise to children.

Women Awakening Essential

Everybody who experimented any kind of  loses, from earthquake to death of someone loved,  put himself the question: Why me? Am I  guilty , am I blamed or I made a mistake in my life?

Those and other many philosophical questions about what our brains are, who we are, and why we're asking these questions all of our fears in life can be traced back to the most fundamental one: not knowing who we are.

And therefore, the goal of higher states of…

An excerpt from The Three Worlds of the Witches

Where were they she thought, the voices, they were supposed to join me after breakfast. Something small flying about near the ceiling high above caught her eye, she’d not expected to see flies in a place like this. She fixed her gaze on it there was something strange about it, that shimmer... As it got bigger and came slowly closer Delia was horrified to see it was a frightened…

Goodbye Borders: Another casualty in the decline in paperback and hardback sales!

Recently, I was driving and passed the empty Borders bookstore building at the corner of Ronald Regan Parkway and 124 in Snellville, Georgia.

I slowed down, turned into the parking lot. I opened the car door and walked up to the front door.

I stared inside at the empty space.…

Greetings

Greetings, I am new here and just looking around trying to get a feel for the site itself. About me... I am writer and artist. I write anything from plays, novels, short stories, poetry, and children stories and my art and my writing questions and challenges the 'Human Realities of this world'. The best way I can sum it up, just that it is all very involved. I raise questions of the human potential and those prospects of possibilities that may or may not be inflicted and imposed on the…
