Okay so I’m about to start my second round of edits on my first Paranormal Romance story Double Magick in the Falls book 1 in the Candi Reynolds series. This is very exciting because each round brings the publishing date that much closer. Wish me luck :D

Yeah baby, yeah, woo hoo! Phew. I’ve just finished my first round of edits, and I’ve sent them back to my editor. Today it only took me 10 hours to finish. But it has been an intense four days of it. A total of 47 1/2 hours worth of editing. Put like that it doesn’t sound a lot though. But the first day I was at them for 14 1/2 hours, the second day 12 hours, the third 11 hours and finally today the final day 10 hours. So it’s been a pretty intense four days. Ah well round 1 of edits…

April) What gives you ideas for your novels?
DJ Shaw) Truthfully I have found inspiration everywhere. Driving down the street, see a billboard, Oh I can do something really wicked with that.” That kind of thing lol
April) That’s pretty cool, it means the World is your inspirational playground :D So for my next question to you, I would like to know, do you find yourself laughing, crying or have any other emotions while writing your…

Author DC Grace
April) DC Grace how pleased are you to have met Dade and Shelby?
DC Grace) Tryamon actually gave me the idea. I found her picture in a deck of faery tarot cards, and she wouldn't stop screaming in my head. It didn't take long to know it was a story that had to be told. :)
April) Dade Blue-Therror and Shelby Mercy what made you decide to invite Dawn to write your…

April) What gave you the idea for Love's Paradox?
Laura) I was crying in a Barnes & Noble. My mom and I used to go all the time. We’d scour the shelves for hours and drink chai tea lattes. Anyway, it was the first time I’d gone back since she unexpectedly passed away. People were staring at this crazy girl crying in the middle of the café. I pulled my laptop free, opened it, and began writing something funny. I had to stop crying, and I knew my mom…

April) What gives you ideas for your novels?
Christine Elaine) I like to write historical romance and my ideas come from the time periods I enjoy reading the most. It occurred to me that a romance set in Rome with a good plot and a few lively secondary characters was difficult to find. Before long Maximus took shape and after I finished his story the details for Taurus entered my head.
April) I do love history, and I’m glad Maximus got the ball…

April) What gives you ideas for your novels?
Lori) Oh, anything from dreams, reading or watching the news.
April) I do love when an idea comes from an unexpected place :D So my next question to you is: Do you find yourself laughing, crying or have any other emotions while writing your scenes that are linked with your characters emotions?
Lori) Of course, if I can't feel anything about my story and what the characters are going…

So I have heard back from the publishing house I've sent my novel to, and the wonderful editor who's been looking after me likes my novel and the changes that I had done to Double Magick in The Falls book 1 in A Candi Reynolds Novel (they really needed doing)and has asked for my permission to send it to the reading department as protocol requires books get reader opinions prior to asking for a contract. Would it be ok to proceed?
My answer oh yes definitely, and now I have everything…

Hi everyone just a quick note if your a non-US national (I'm Irish and live in Ireland) and you're wanting to get your book published through an American publishing house then you will need an ITIN number.

So I have just started writing The Prophecy which is the second book in Candi Reynolds series. Originally I had decided that I would have a weeks break from writing but as new characters were introducing themselves to me, especially when I was just about to try and fall asleep!
I decided that I would go straight into writing the second book in the series for the price of my sanity and the need of sleep! This has slightly worked out as now just before falling to…
