I've had my latest story on hold for nearly a month now, and the question running through my head is: Why is it so hard to write something?

If Charles Dickens had lived in the twenty-first century, and had written the famous book, would it have been as successful? ...Writer's block. I'm sure if there was a cure I'd stock up on it, 'coz I'm terrible at not being sure what to put next. Then again, if nobody every had writer's block, books would be published left and right. Right? Recently my family dragged me back in the U.K. Not that I'm complaining, but I was finally getting used to America. Now that I'm in Glasgow, maybe ideas will start flowing for my new story.
