..a 'Holiday Season' (conclusion)

     Another 'Holiday Season' begins and bells, the 'Holiday Season' beckons.  Where 'Work' lines up neatly every list; with laughter and leniency, we All enlist.  When 'Time' reminds Us, constantly and consistently, that we Are in-fact Late; as 'It' hurries us along&out the Door.  Rampaging our list; 'ROAD RAGE' always arrives UnCompromising and Unyielding each and every Year, operating on Swears and Slurs of Words.  Rushing rapidly to the Last Item on the Shelf, Speeding fanatically to the Last Parking Space; 'ROAD RAGE' is known to-be Resistant to the natural Rhythm of Things.  'Schedule' is forever adding Errands as Add Ons, taking and squeezing Them in from everywhere; this often upsets 'Time', to the point of threatening to Walk Out.  And there is Mischievous 'MONEY'; running and jumping about, as a Child.  Mischievous 'MONEY'; ducking and dodging, always getting Lost in other People's Pocket..

     However; in walks 'Relaxation', reminding 'Work' that 'It's' run in the Relay Race is almost Done.  'Satisfaction' arrives dressed in a Suit&Tie, checking the Details in 'Time's' progress; these Two understand that Slow&Steady wins the Race, and their Bond is harmonious.  The elusive and evading 'Patience' seems to Slide In unNoticed, slipping Us the Elixir of Sanity&Rationale; seducing and relieving 'ROAD RAGE's' OFF-DUTY light On.  And you will Never see 'Understanding' simply Pull Up, Get Out, and Walk through the Door.  'Understanding' simply Exist, as 'Schedule' so often does this special Time of Year; hanging Top Coats while Meeting and Greeting, adding extra Place Settings at the Dinner Table..

     It is when the Last of These arrive, that our Hearts warm and our Eyes glisten.  The Forgiver of Past, Healer of Present, Giver of Future; 'LOVE', Humanity's basic Definition, perfectly Defined.  'Love' guides and calms 'MONEY' down, back to 'It's' rightful Place of PAPER; aiding and assisting for Better, not harassing and harming for Worse.  How 'Everything' seems to 'Miraculously' Fall into Place when the 'Holiday Spirit' finally makes 'It's' Grand Entrance.  Decorations sparkle and twinkle of Wonder and Imagination; having been Set with such Determination and Detail.  'Holiday Music' plays softly in the Background, just under the Whispers of Apple Pie&Ice-Cream spotted in the Kitchen; where, for the duration of the 'Song', we feel all of 'Eight' years old again.  Rich Aromas of countless Cooking hours Permeate tender 'Hello's' and 'How are You's' through the Air; of Appetizers, Entrée's complete with multiple Sides, and Homemade Pies..

From Near&very Far, 'They' will Sit Down at the Dinner Table for a 'Special Feast' at the Most Special Time of Year.  Generations will be in Attendance there, unlike Ever Before; of Trials and Triumphs, of precious Memories.  A 'Family' of friends, strangers, and relatives, full of Cheer; will Give Thanks. ..a 'Holiday Dinner' nears.
