Authors, Writers, Publishers, and Book Readers
But with this book, the Author's focus is a bit more laser sharp. It particularly hones in on the shift that takes one into that downward spiral and into harmful destructive behavior: that is the shift from depression to deep depression. They are not the same. In fact, they are dissimilar, because they are divergent. Depression takes you through one stage of emotions that hold their own volatility. But deep depression takes you to the next stage. It has its own stage on which to perform. It carries with it its own performance. It is this next level of deep depression that pulls you down into a tunnel, where death is. When deep depression hits, even the weight of it feels different, heavier. It's like being on a stair step, and you find yourself going down another stair step, and you're staring into utter darkness. You're at the tail end of this thing, and it's saying to you: I don't want you here. Harming yourself or harming the lives of others, or both, is the ultimate goal of deep depression. Two parts--one goal. This is where you step in and make the ultimate choice, as you're flailing deep into, and under, this constant weight. Spiral with it or go in on it, clutching your positive antidotes, applying some components together, and pull your way out of it.
