Behind a Second Face

Empty words swirl around the room

Fearing their own demise,

Sensing the coming doom

As decency walks through the lies.

But this is just the unfinished story

The one the world will hear,

So sad that no one will believe

No one will shed a tear

Empty Words find their place,

Hidden in the darkest way,

Stuck behind a second face,

Smiles sweeten all they say.

But then it's an unfinished story

The one that will be told

Don’t believe what you will hear

Lies never get old.
