Stateham goes over and above the call of duty here by penning an installment that is novella sized in length, but way over overloaded on emotion, atmosphere, and intensity. I have become a huge fan of B.R. Stateham and his multi-genre writing. He has a fantasy novel (Roland of the High Crags:Evil Arises) with another awaiting release, another full length novel ,”Death of a Young Lieutenant” which uses WWI as a backdrop(His main character is an art thief/detective), and his “Smitty” the assassin series of digital short stories and novella’s. All together one could say he is a busy guy with a fertile mind brimming with ideas.

Paul D. Brazill has executed an excellent game plan with this series. He invites authors of various backgrounds to come play in his universe, to not just continue it, but to make it better, add some spice to the pot, stir the stew a bit, add a little verve and curve, to bend it a tad, but to keep the essence of it, the core, the beating heart that he has created like a true mad scientist. B.R. Stateham in this installment, “Insatiable”, not only does that and more, he hits it with a lightning bolt that is sure to give this incredible franchise a jolt of juice for many installments to come.
