My First Book

My first published book is 'Now Just Listen' published by Mirador in the UK and available as a download for Amazon's Kindle. It's a humorous account (partly fictionalised) of my 3 years at a teacher training college in the 1960s. I had left an all boys grammar school with very little knowledge or understanding of girls and entered a world where the girls outnumbered the boys by at least 4 to 1, maybe more! In 3 years I learnt more than most of my contemporaries did in a lot longer. I also gained my teaching certificate, but I'm not sure how as I seemed to have little time to go to lectures. It features Charlie Bristle, a naive and socially accident prone young man, and follows his progress through many hilarious situations as he builds the education he missed out on while at school. I have written 2 sequels but am waiting for sales to pick up before offering them for publication. I am also working on a 4th book which is very different to the Charlie Bristle series.
