Authors, Writers, Publishers, and Book Readers

Hey everyone. I've been writing since I could hold a pencil, and now that I am old enough to put thoughts together, I'm going to try and share them with you. Firstly I just recently turned sixteen, and secondly, as this title suggests, my first real work of writing isn't much of a good idea, but honestly what is?
This story is, I guess you could say, advance. Its about this girl named Audrey who marries a man named Todd, but they realize that they don't love each other. They have a daughter early in their marriage (Victoria) who has epileptic seizures. Audrey leaves Todd for a man who truly loves her (Zack), who's wife had died. It goes through the relationships of Audrey and Zack, along with Alexei and Hannah, who also struggle to get along.
Again, it might be a little "up there" for a kid my age, and I might not do anything right, but isn't that what I'm here for?

I like your attitude! :) Great to have you here, Lora. Sounds just fine to me! Please share some with us when you're ready.

It sounds like a good idea to me. And age is just a number, as long as you can write believable characters and situations, age is irrelevant. Experience and research is what matters, the more research you do on a subject, the more 'real' it will become. The more experience you have with a subject, the more 'real' you can make it.

Yes, age garners experience, but I know a lot of people who are quite young and have experience beyond their years.
