Authors, Writers, Publishers, and Book Readers
I have finally finished the second book in the trilogy of my clock series, Every Hour Counts. It is called Moving West, as told by Gilbert Clock. I had to read a lot of historical events, year by year, and research the background of people that lived in the town in which both books were based. What is important here is not that the book has at last been published, but rather the amount of readiing (research)) that is involved do it properly.
The first book was not checked as thoroughly as it should have been for mistakes...a writers error in judgement...at least mine. Now I have taken the time to not only research, but also to re-read and write it line by line...now the second book is completed and yet I am certain there will still be errors made. You would think that after 11 books these minor problems would be overcome.
At any rate, book two of the trilogy is called "Moving West, as told by Gilbert Clock" and has been a challenge since the clock narrates the story based on what it has heard from the Fireplace where it is stationed. Of course radio has finally come into use by many, and our Gilbert Clock is privy to all that it hears there as well as the many conversations in the living room..All in all there are over 35 historical facts in the book and it is worth a read.
If your are interested you can google my name Thomas J. Ault or you can go to Amazon.com or Createspace.com/3680727 , order the book and write a review.
At any rate, if you don't read anything you can't have valid facts. I you read and copy someone else you have another problem....it's all up to you.
