The End of Charlie bristle?

This is my first visit to Authors.com for several months for various reasons. Mirador have now published the last in the series of 3 books about Charlie Bristle. I am now working on something completely different but I am toying with the idea of a Charlie Bristle prequel, a popular trend these days. Charlie has now sadly lost his wife, as he always knew he would but then met again his first love from his college days, Carol who was by now the head of a primary school in East Sussex. He is also suffering from a range of mental problems caused by the constant stream of new initiatives from the government which are completely alien to his method and philosophy of education. He decides to call it a day and manages to get an LEA approved early retirement at 53. He then embarks on a range of activities involving more hilarious adventures with several of his oldest friends and his extrovert daughter.
