The Saga of Adeline McCoy - Book 1 - Introduction

Ok, so I'm only 13 years old, and trying to write a book. I'll post each chapter periodically, and I NEED CRITICISM IN ORDER TO MAKE THIS BOOK GOOD!! i will gladly accept any criticism i can get:)
The book is about a girl named Adeline. You'll find out much about her as you read, which I hope you do!





What I am about to tell you is absolutely, positively, 100% true. Yes, a lot of insane stuff happens in this story, believe me. I lived it. It’s for real. Everything. Names and all. Unlike others, if I didn't want to tell you the names, I wouldn't have even told this story to anyone who didn't already know about it. But, if they already knew about it, there wouldn't be much of a point in telling them what I'm about to tell you.
Now, there are a few points I need to make before I begin
Point #1:
My friends, and whatever family I have left mean absolutely everything to me. Without them. I wouldn't serve a purpose, would have committed suicide, and wouldn't be here telling you this story. Pretty much everything that happens in my story is because of the influence of people. Of mankind. This proves good in some ways, but horribly cruel in others.

Point #2:
I hate racism as much as a person could hate racism. This is one of the biggest horribly cruel influences of mankind as was aforementioned. One of the reasons of my hatred of racism is because my family was the victim of it during World War Two. Yes, we are Jewish. And yes, much of my family died, and I'll never even know who they were because the Nazis destroyed their records of ever existing. It's a miracle I even exist. My own great grandparents from my Dad's side suffered the reality of the Holocaust. But only from my Dad's side. My Mom is descended from a Nazi who fled to Argentina after the war with his girlfriend. You can figure out the rest. Even so many years after the war, people still support the Nazis. Including my mom. As soon as she figured out Dad was Jewish, she left him behind along with a one year old daughter and a six year old son. I never saw her again. And if I ever were to see her again, I'd probably punch her in the face for what she did. All because of racism. I've stood up to more bullies than you can count, all for someone I don't even know. It's worth it, though, because those bullies usually don't bully again once I'm done with them.
Point #3:
I am definately rough around the edges. I appear as someone that a stereotypical person would call 'emo'. The general public describes emo as someone who cuts themselves, is depressed all the time, and listens to screamo music. That's rarely true. Most supposed 'emo's would never cut themselves, are perfectly happy most of the time, and hates screamo music. Go ahead, call us fake for dressing the way we do even though, by your standards, it shouldn't fit our personality. See if I care. The only reason you'd call us fake once you find out our real personalities is because we go beyond the boundaries you set. Real people wouldn't do that.
Point #4:
Don't call me Adeline, even if that is my real name. Pretend the name Adeline doen't exist. Just call me Jude.
