Today I had a Revelation………

Today I had a revelation; I have realized that this is what I was meant to do! I am supposed to accomplish great things, I am supposed to have a great life, and I am supposed to fall in love! Today, I am one year older, and I think back on all the years that have preceded me, and I understand it all. Everything happens for a reason, and for many people I have found that they question things they don’t understand.  But I feel that we all go through our trials and tribulations, so that we are able to see our true purpose. If we are willing and ready, with eyes, heart, and mind wide open we can appreciate the things that happen the way they did. Life is full of mysterious happenings; life ends to short, people become rich off of a lottery ticket, and people are born with strange but wonderful talents all the same. 

We as a society conform to the “Norm” standing in line, waiting for our turn! Then when our turn never comes, we blame god, our family, our friends, and our Government!  But for those of us who chose not to “conform” and get in the driver seat of this crazy little thing we call life, we pass you by. You are responsible for your life, Don’t Waite for someone to hand you the script and tell you to memorize your lines. You should be out there writing your own script, and never regretting anything that you have ever done. Life is choices, chance, freedom, happiness, struggle, adversity, pain, tears, frustration, and life it’s self. As we speak the abundance of you are writing your own stories; making a mark in your future. And for those of you, who chose to think that your chance will come, all you have to do is Waite, well you just keep standing in that line; for a life with hopes, dreams, and happiness is what awaits you. As for the rest of us whom are laying the brick to our Yellow brick road, we will pass you by.

Life is not something given, yes we are given life from conception, through birth, but what we do with it is up to us. Through my journey of life thus far, I have experienced highs and lows. And I do not regret one single thing. I have learned a great deal from various points on my mere time line. But here is what I am telling you today on this day of February 16^th, twenty 08, I am all of Twenty-Eight years old.  I have more knowledge in my mind, body and soul than most.  I treat each day as a new adventure, because as with life; death follows and one day I shall not exist in physical form, but only in memories.  So today I say, give it everything, enjoy who you are, and love from your soul, for tomorrow may never come. 

I myself came to a place in life where I felt as if I was standing in that proverbial line, like a drone. Having accomplished things that others might say is amazing. But feeling like a clone of myself; knowing that I have never been a conformist, by any means. Living on the edge of life, treating each day as if it were my last, free of care and free of worries sparing know ones feelings for my actions. But I was much younger and much less mature. As I have aged in life, and experience I remembered one of the things that had made me so happy in my adolescent years; unpredictability.

Life continues to amaze us; we have such an enormous anomaly of events that happen daily. I mean take global warming for example, this is happening because 99.9% of the human race don’t take in consideration their actions. And as they say “Actions speak louder than words!’  It is very true. But to be quite honest, I don’t know who “They” are. Well who ever they are, they must have a vast amount of knowledge at their fingertips. I pride myself in the fact that I take it upon myself to learn more, to absorb knowledge like a sponge.

To find ones self in one’s self is a feat that some never acquire. They wander this earth aimlessly looking for the slightest hint to whom they could possibly be.  The feeling of not feeling content is maddening; forcing the host to do thing that they hate. They will troll through their lives with the same boring job, the same bad habits, eventually becoming clinically depressed, taking medication for every disease out there, turning old before their time because of stress, and anxiety.  If a person is strong enough to look deep within themselves, they will discover that there is more to them than meets the eye. But the reason people chose not to discover whom they truly are is the fear of the unknown. Not knowing if who they really are can pay the bills, fear that they might not like the change, fear that they might disconnect from the everyday repetition of their existence.  As I said previously; people are afraid of the unknown. We as the human race, have the power to put life on pause, step aside and ask ourselves; “Is this how I want to be remembered?” If you were not afraid as a child to color outside the lines, then most likely you remained in the driver’s seat or your life. But if you were too afraid to deviate from the ideal image, than you may want to take a second look. 

Life is truly what you make of it, and if you have the brass balls, then “take that bull by the horns” so to speak and turn you life into your dreams! Because the sky truly is the limits! And in my personal opinion cant is not a word that should be in anyone’s vocabulary. Because you can do anything you put your mind to! Don’t be afraid to explore your mind, body, and soul. Get creative, reach deep inside and pull out what drives you, search yourself, you will discover who you really are!
