Authors, Writers, Publishers, and Book Readers
Two sisters, one story, & plenty of emotion, this is the recipe for Wicked Good. An excellent one at that as this novel is surprising in its quality and ability to not just grab the reader, but evoke a myriad of emotions that range from tears to hope and inspiration to a few smiles and uplifting moments along the way. Did I, the heartless reader and blogger that I am just write tears? Yes, I did and as manly as I am ,if you cannot shed a few tears as you read this novel, well then your heart is colder than the Grinch’s when he is stealing all the Who pudding in Whoville. When you are done reading it though, your heart will increase in size just like his did.
What is all the hoopla about with novel? Just your basic content, narrative and intense plotline. The story is about unconditional love, sharing, persistence and so much more that I can’t really do justice to it. This novel will strike you to the core of your being and make you look at life and those around you in a different way, a better way hopefully. The mother and son in this story, their story, will break your heart and then put it back together again, hopefully in a different way. We learn that relationships and unconditional love come in all forms. Rory is accepted by those who love him for the person he is and Rory in turn has his own special way of showing that he cares about those closest to him. The Kindle is set @ $2.99; you get way more than that for your hard earned money. To be honest with you, I shed a few tears reading this, my wife wept (she isn’t as cold hearted as I am), and so did our daughters that have read it thus far. We all smiled also, that is the rub on this read, the author’s ability to take us on this journey and put everything back together after it has been torn, bent, and folded into so many different pieces. This story gives us the opportunity to appreciate the things about others that make them Wicked Good.
Here is a little something on the novel from Amazon:
“Wicked Good is a different kind of love story. Rory is not defined by his diagnoses of Aspergers Syndrome and Bipolar Disorder and lives life to the fullest. Archer, his mother, is Rory’s biggest fan. We get a peek at the challenges they face as they are on their journey. Experience the unconditional love of a mother for her child and the many different ways Rory shows his love to those around him.
