from the book "The Burning Bush" by Tabitha Robin (Pike)
Carefully weaved web of deception
Lief's looking glass, long night's reflection,
Standing between a fine line,
Hopes are now gone, left behind,
A thought that would stand firm,
Now with a changing fate it does burn,
Pain and sorrow wrenches in the depths of a soul,
For reality is here, now for one to behold,
Life comes quick and very fast,
Changes will mold the looking glass,
Constantly pouring out and filling up,
The fragile heartfelt cup,
Starting at point a to get to point b,
It is a hopeful earnest plea,
We linger between the fine lines,
On tenterhooks all plight will be left behind,
Life is what one makes it,
Either be on top or under the pit,
No matter what comes one's way,
Make every day a bright shinning array.

Beautiful poem. I would change the word (a) in the seventh line to read (the) soul, gives it more power. Also I don't think this piece needs to end on a possitive note. I think it could go on, deeper into the feelings. I see not only can you feel but you can write those feeling. Very good!!!...
