JK Rowling says Harry Potter may be back
Harry may be gone but not forever by the sounds of it. JK Rowling didn't rule it out completely.
"I could definitely write an eighth, ninth, tenth," the celebrated author, 45, told Oprah Winfrey during an interview scheduled to air Friday. "I'm not going to say I won't. I don't think I will ... I feel I am done, but you never know." This comes as a surprise to me. However, i think if she does a new installment, then people would think she is in for the money (whatever her personal reasons are!).
Anyway, huge fan as i am, i'd definitely continue reading the saga!
To be honest, i don't know what else she could add, i mean, Voldemort was finished (wasn't he?)
But then again, element of surprise is an author's best weapon!

I don't care if she's doing it for the money or not!! All that matters is that the books are good and are not just a bunch a nonsense!! I would totally like to know what happened after the war! The death eaters what they did to them? The whole purity thing are there those still clinging to it ? How did people cope on the dead ones! Like Tonks and Lupins' funeral!! Fred's as well!! How Harry Felt taking care of their son!! Or if Bill and Fluer had any themselves!!! The ministry!!!! Omgosh I have so many questions!!

Rowen, seriously you think she's in it for the money? She's a real live billionaire now LOL. Money is highly unlikely to be her primary motivation, that's for sure. And I imagine her contract with her old publisher ran out when the series did, so she can name her price with any publisher. I think she's in the very lucky position of wanting to do it for the fun of it because she misses writing about him.
My husband has a theory that if she does write new ones it would be about Harry and Jenny's kids.

I guess Im just so used to the Trio introducing others does not tickle my fancy.

Well, i do not think she'll do it for the money.
Like i said, "people" would.
And that's an interesting theory, though i have to agree with Viviana. I'm used to the original three characters. However, i'd like to read about a new Triwizard Tournament, since the Goblet of Fire is my favorite book from the saga!

I know Bloomsbury will be glad to hear it. They were relaunching the books to coincide with the next movie, I believe. Folks may want to catch up that have never read them.

Oh! That would be awesome! It could begin with Harry telling his kids about his life, then they go to hogwarts and have their own adventures with Hermione's and Ron's kids!

She could do that Callie, she'd need to bring another party because we cant have the cousins fallin for each other, they're too close. Draco's family (he married a girl like 4 years younger than him!!! I wonder when they got to know each other! She was the ice princess of Slytherin!!) is obvious but who else!! lol Luna's family would be marvelous!! She was my fave girl character!!!

Lol! Mine too! I love how creative she is. It makes me wonder what type of books she could write... :) I'd love to see what her kids would be like!
