Authors, Writers, Publishers, and Book Readers
I have a question.. is there any way to become focused on one story or book when writing? Becuase I start so many.. and then I either get broed or get a new idea and start writing. Then that gets old so I start a new one and so on. Then I go back to my old ones and forget the new ones. Plus, writers block has come up a lot lately. I've found I dont enjoy, or feel like writing as much as I used to.. Is there any advice to help me on this?!
Forgive me for my inncorrect grammar, run-on sentences, etc.. I'm very tired and a little stressed.

This happens to me so often that I have only (officially) finished two books. I have one book that is 75 pages, one that is 62, and numerous others, including short stories. Often I stop writing simply because I have hit a slow part and do not feel like continuing at the time, or I feel that the quality of what I have is not adequate. I normally say to myself, "Oh, I can always do it tomorrow," which is not logical--I know that I will say the same thing tomorrow. What I usually do is force myself--then, when I hit another interesting segment, I will enjoy it. Do not worry--this happens to me all the time!
Haha My Dear,it happens to us all. perhaps, next time you should focus on the one, which gives you further excitement or may be,the one you visualize me holding above my nose, while reading it like it will run to the highway.
Well, we all hit that spot at least once in our career. I know I've hit it multiple times! The trick is to write whatever you want! If you have a great idea in your mind, and you feel like you'll forget soon, don't try writing another story just because you haven't worked on it enough! I have about six stories underway right now, and there are like three or four more that I just haven't had a chance to write down yet! Just write what you feel! :)
start one, stick with one, complete with one,
then all ur other ideas for other storys make a list of them, you'll create them over time dude.
oh, and to keep you entertained, combine some ideas and such.
you get me? ;)
See if this helps. It's expanding on what Kay recommended there that you do. If you feel you are blocked, a lifestyle change is in order. You don't have to work on every idea every time you have one.
The Habits that Spark Your Creative Genius
Don't open other ones. That's the simple answer. If you get bored with them, then why stick with them anyway? It sounds like you're a bit burned out, so put the writing and books aside and get out in the fresh air. There's nothing like being in nature for an afternoon or evening to refresh you. You need a change of scene and routine to shake things up. Watch different shows, listen to podcasts, try a different kind of music from usual...anything that's different from the norm will help you break out of it. And when you have writers block, you write about having writers block. Just put anything down.
You can also read this article about how a writer needs to have an interest in the world to be creative. And one of the best things for stress is sleep. Make sure you're getting enough.
