Hey everyone,

I was wanting to know if anyone in here knows how to convert a word document into a jpeg. I design all the covers for my books myself. Usually I can find a photo that is close to what I want my cover to look like and I end up designing it in a word document but I dont know how to convert it from a document to a jpeg so I can upload it to show my family and friends. Does anyone know how to do this??? Moslty its just to show them a rough draft until my book is acutally printed. Just to give them an idea.

in my humble opinion, you would be wiser to use a simple graphics software tool to design your cover page and create its text.  However, you can accomplish your Word doc conversion in a bit of a roundabout way.  First, save the doc file to PDF format, then use a software tool like PDF Exchange Viewer to open the PDF and convert the page to a JPG.

Good luck!

My son says to just change the '.doc' to '.jpeg', but he also said you could take a picture of it with your camera and email it to yourself, or scan it onto your computer. He also advised that you google it for a better explanation.

Mandy,

When I have questions like yours, I google "Ask a Geek" then post the question.  They are great with answers and they are fast.
