Cleveland, thanks for the call for submissions, that's excellent. Please post this in the Poetry Group if you haven't already.

It would be better there as all its members will be notified of the new topic (unless they have opted out in their Settings). Thanks very much. That helps keep the discussions that are of particular interest to any specific group in the most suitable place for them.

I'll close this one for comments in the meantime then delete it once the other one is up. Please send me a PM when it is. It's also a good idea to add the deadline date in the post title. Cheers!

And as always folks, make sure you read the submission guidelines thoroughly.

P.S. I just looked at that again, Cleveland. What do you get if you're chosen for it? I see no offer of money or even a free calendar, just a mention of when it will be available for purchase.

Maybe I'm just missing it. Don't tell me they expect you to hand over your hard work to create their calendar then make you buy it to get a copy! lol. That's very cheeky because they will undoubtedly make money on every sale and get the printing done at trade prices.

Thanks for the heads up. I enjoy poetry writing too. I have a few on autorsden.
