Are you yourself or do you know any young writers that would be interested in this essay contest from the prestigious Ayn Rand Institute about her book, We The Living? Please pass it along to your local school or any young writers groups you know of too.

There are no entry fees involved and first prize is $3000. The competition is open to students worldwide. You must be a 10th, 11th or 12th grader to be eligible. Deadline is May 5, 2011.

Dang! I'm too old by about twenty years. Do you think they would make an exception? ;)
Um, no. LOL. :)

What about the rest of you? Some of you must know someone that's of the age that could enter this. That's a very nice prize being offered. There are several in fact, not just the main one.

I just came across a page where they give away Ayn Rand books to educators. So now you can give this and the competition details to your teacher or school.
