Scheduled chats! Who can come when?
I'd love to have a scheduled chat more often. I'm going to be here tonight to try kick things off. :) I've started this thread on the forum to put the word out and see who's interested. My original one's old now and we have lots of new members. Just say roughly what suits you please.
Me, I can manage anytime from about 7pm CST and am flexible as I work from home. I was thinking a Fri/Sat/Sun might be better. Chat's always open of course.
I'll add it as an event so folks see it on the front page too. Please bring along friends too! Everyone's welcome.

Well, I'm sick, so I can be here any time this weekend except 7:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. on Sunday EST. I have church. But if we schedule a chat and I'm not there, I didn't forget, my little sis tookover the computer. I'll be at the 7:00 P.M. chat tonight. I'll be 8:00 my time. See you there! It'll be nice to actually talk to real people!

Please try pop by even if it's later and only for a little while. I know Sandra for example can't be here anytime until after 8 and I'll be sending her a PM to let her know it's on. If we can get organized, we could arrange chats on a regular night and perhaps guest speaker chats sometime. I know we have a great pool of potential guest speakers right amongst our membership already! :) Hope to see you guys later.

The lightning isn't too bad so I made it! I'm in chat now and will hang around for a good while if anyone wants to pop in. :) You'll see the chat button at the top of the page or you can click where it says Authors.com Chat| 4 Online (or however many there are) at the bottom.

Dang, I'll join in sometme next week, cuz lately i just took a bet to live wthout electronics for a full week. monday to next monday. so yeah, no computer no tv, no phone, and no music, or my precous radio. lol I'll seak to you guys till Then! I know i can beat this bet. I have writing, drawing ad reading to entertain me right?

You could always have a conversation too you know with a living breathing person. ;) My family berates me for never wanting to chat very much. When I do, I'm wondering what I'm missing online.
You'll get to work on your writing too and do all those revisions you promised yourself you'd get around to one day. No time like the present.

Betty, you'll be surprised at how easy it is to do without it once you get used to it. During our once in a lifetime ice storm we lasted 11 days without electricity. I read several books I'd wanted to reread or start by candlelight. I can't wait to hear how you got on. :)

I am free anytime really, but to pin it down to a day, I would say Sunday. Just need to know about a day ahead of time. Thanks for getting this going, I learn so much from other writers!

Christine, thanks so much for replying! We can always add an Event to the homepage when one's on. There's an option to subscribe to Event notifications in your personal settings. I love learning from other writers too.
I'm like you, a day would be enough notice for me to get myself organized enough to attend. You can pop in there whenever you feel like it too and see who's in chat there. We never close. :) Usually if I do that I make a post on the forum to let others know.
