This is an encouraging article, thank you for sharing! I have recently published my debut novel via Mirador Publishing, who offer a partnership publishing service. They basically decided my novel was suitable for their brand, and they footed half of the bill to produce it for me. I found this a much better way to start off, as I didn't have a clue how I was going to sell my books. Anyway, I digress. I would love to be taken on by an agent and find my way to a commercial publisher with a multiple book deal, as this is the first in a series I am writing. So maybe I will be brave, and carry on applying to those agents...
