I said I loved you and this time I believed it to be true

My heartfelt, cause even though I’m mad ass ,  I still want to call you.

I can’t.  You’re no good for me

You told me when we first met, you didn’t want a relationship, but I thought I was special

Or something.

I thought I could change you, that I could make you love me.  You kept telling me you was just having fun.

You had a woman at home but I actually thought you were makin that up, like you were some kind of little boy instead of a grown man who couldn’t speak his mind.

I fell in love with a Ghost cause I didn’t know nothing about you. You didn’t allow me to.  I created my false image of you.  I was shallow, egotistical and self serving.

I was a fool.  I thought I loved you.

Very nice, Lola Mae. Did you find the Poetry Group yet? That's where most poets here add their stuff. :)

I think that was very beautiful :)

The sad part is it applies to most women's lives at one point or another! I think you captured the emotions very well!
