Trying Times
When trying times fall upon us, how do we respond,
sometimes bad situations last for months and beyond,
the struggling economy affects us in phases,
from high gas prices, to jobs lost, or a cut back in wages.
We must be aware of the unexpected and expect the unknown,
we should be keen and pay attention to the signs that are shown,
we must endure throughout the struggle until the smoke clears the air,
we should remember that God puts no more on a person than they can bare.
Life’s good times and bad times come and go with the days,
and our Almighty God works in mysterious ways,
we must stay positive and determined with a goal to work towards,
for the battle that we fight is not ours; its the Lord’s.
Trying times can be stressful and leave us disgusted,
but trying times won't last long if the Savior is trusted,
Trying times can build quickly and make options slim,
but the Lord has the answer, so give your trying times to him.
