Synopsis writing, just what does it mean to you?

Here's a wonderfully thought provoking article on the 'synopsis'.

I read and applied it, discovered I have still a lot to learn if I want a world beater of a book series. So I am going to go back to the start and do it all again, armed with this piece of wisdom, the finished product will be miles better. We never stop learning do we?

To be honest it came at the right time too, as I have added in a lot of new plot lines with the fourth book and they need to be woven in from the very beginning to make them sparkle.
